NEWSREEL: New Kennedy Assassination Evidence!

Finally the air clears over the Kennedy assassination! Six extra seconds worth of censored footage from the famous Zapruder film were discovered last week in Edinburgh, Indiana. They were found by the heirs of Mr Jim Macpherson, a former collaborator of the New York photo lab which first processed the Dallas material, hidden in a hollowed-out copy of the Songs of Ossian. It would seem that the 98 frames of which the cut consists, have been hidden there ever since December 6, 1963. Mr Macpherson’s motives for the embezzlement are unclear, but it is not redundant to point out that he is known to have played a role in the preparations for the Bay of Pigs debacle, and seems to have worked for Navy intelligence during his tour of duty in Korea, early in 1953.

As all the rest of the Zapruder film, the newly discovered footage is blurry and indistinct, but it sheds some sensational new light on the terrible events of November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas. It so happens that frame 486 (thus far supposed to be the last of the film) is not the end of Abraham Zapruder’s impromptu evidence. Mr Zapruder panned back after the presidential limousine disappeared into the tunnel of the Triple Underpass. Doing so, the lens caught at least one remarkable feature: the image of what seems to be a well-known Ku Klux Klan affiliate, squatting in the rhododendron bushes to the south-south-east of the Grassy Knoll, tucking away a high-powered Japanese built ZB 26 semi-automatic rifle (known to WW II US Marines as ‘the Curtain Rod’) into a rolled-up blanket.

Police authorities have not yet commented on the new evidence, with the excuse that they are waiting for the results of the forensic investigation presently in progress at the FBI laboratories. These, however, are Digital Days, so the greater part of the footage is already available for you to see. Click here, and judge for yourself.

  1. I'm guessing the date is not irrelevant here. And, looking at the time of the post, neither is the British kids' ditty, always sung after the critical time of 12 noon:-
April Fools' has come and gone,
And you're the fool for carrying on.

    Apologies if wrong, Alfie.
